TAILOR-MADE TRAINING

The training themes are defined according to the needs and interests of the teachers and the organiser.

PRACTICAL AND CONCRETE TEACHING TECHNIQUES

The training courses are participant-centered. I provide sessions with demonstrations, analysis of methods and activities, lesson observations followed by feedback, in a friendly and constructive way.

Examples of topics covered:

Using authentic material
Developing listening skills
Optimising learners' speaking time in class
Dealing with different levels within the same group
Adapting activities from a textbook
Increasing learners' motivation in class
Giving clear and concise instructions in the target language

EXCHANGES, DISCUSSIONS, SHARING EXPERIENCES

As a trainer, my role is not to say what to do and what not to do in class but to encourage discussions, exchanges, debates between participants about the advantages and limits of various teaching methods and techniques.

New or experienced teachers working in primary or secondary schools, universities, NGOs or language schools.
